Spring 2025
Important iCREW Note:
When signing up for iCREW - PLEASE CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN YOUR ROWER’S NAME and select ROWER (not parent of rower). You can create a separate "Family” account for you as the guardian/parent, which will allow you to access your Rower’s account, documents, and club fees.

Log in to your iCrew account. (This should be under your Rower’s name)
Go to the Dashboard or My Teams section.
Look for the option Club Teams/Groups
Look for this season’s team.
Click Join Team.
Complete any required forms, waivers, and payments.
Follow the steps in the tutorial to navigate to Payments to pay for the current season. Our payment processor is GiveButter. Your receipt will be emailed to you along with details about the Season Schedule. (Scholarship rowers - we will handle your tuition from within iCrew.)

Setting Up Your New iCrew Account:

STEP 1: SETUP iCREW Account Setup iCrew Rower account using your Rower's info ( you can download the app for iPhone or Android or complete on a computer).
STEP 2: LOGIN & UPDATE ROWER PROFILE After setting up account, login to iCrew account. Navigate to Profile. Please complete your rower’s profile including Emergency Contact information.
STEP 3: COMPLETE FORMS From iCrew, click on "My Documents" and complete the necessary forms.
STEP 4:PAY FOR SEASON Follow the steps in the tutorial to navigate to Payments to pay for the current season. Our payment processor is GiveButter. Your receipt will be emailed to you along with details about the Winter Season Schedule. (Scholarship rowers - we will handle your tuition from within iCrew.)

Season Notes
Spring Break (March 31 – April 4) practice schedule will be shared at a later date.
Boats qualifying for Youth Nationals will have additional required practices from May 19 - June 7
Optional practices between May 26 - June 7 may be available for boats that do not qualify for Youth Nationals.
Program Overview:
Spring Season is dedicated to providing our athletes with competitive 1,500 and 2,000 meter racing experience. We train 5-6 days a week, with several local racing opportunities throughout the season. Training will focus on getting the athletes' fitness and technical skills race ready and will include time focused on the nuances of 2k races.
Our season will be capped off with the USRowing Northwest Youth Championship, with eligible crews working to qualify at that regatta for Youth Nationals in June. Novice rowers will train alongside experienced rowers for the most part and will have opportunities to row up in mixed squad lineups. Brand new rowers (youth in middle or high school ages 13-19 with no rowing experience) are welcome to sign up before March 15.Youth interested in coxing should reach out to Delany Steele at director@vashoncrew.com. Brand new rowers (youth in middle or high school ages 13-19 with no rowing experience) are welcome to sign up before March 31.
Regattas: (some scrimmages or more regattas may be added).

April 25 - April 27 - Brentwood Regatta - Mill Bay, Canada
*Middle schoolers & U15 may have the opportunity to race for one day, depending on event list and coach availability - families will meet with coaches about this opportunity.
May 4 - Opening Day/Windermere Cup - Seattle WA
*1st Varsity 4x+ ONLY, invite only, depends on invite
May 16 - May 18 - NW Youth Regional Championship - Vancouver, WA
*required travel day May 15, can travel after school.
June 11 - 15 - USRowing Youth National Championship - Sarasota, FL
*required travel day June 10, timing dependent on flight. Qualifying boats and coach determination.

US Rowing Membership
Rowers are required to purchase an Annual Individual Championship membership for $65 for new members, $55 to renew. Allows participation in USRowing hosted regattas, access to learning opportunities, and the chance to compete for Team USA . You will be asked for our VIRC club code to complete the US Rowing waiver. VIRC’s club code is 9S7ZB
