Program Overview:
Spring Season is dedicated to providing our athletes with competitive 2,000 meter racing experience. We train 5-6 days a week, with several local racing opportunities throughout the season. Training will focus on getting the athletes' fitness and technical skills race ready and will include time focused on the nuances of 2k races.
Our season will be capped off with the USRowing Northwest Youth Championship, with eligible crews working to qualify at that regatta for Youth Nationals in June. Novice rowers will train alongside experienced rowers for the most part and will have opportunities to row up in mixed squad lineups. Youth interested in coxing should reach out to Delany Steele at director@vashoncrew.com. Brand new rowers (youth in middle or high school ages 13-19 with no rowing experience) are welcome to sign up before March 31.

April 6th Husky Open (Top Boat Only) - Seattle, WA
April 13th and 14th Covered Bridge Regatta - Eugene, OR (Travel is expected on Friday, April 12th - overnight travel regatta)
April 20th Lake Stevens, WA
April 26th - April 28th: Brentwood International Regatta - Vancouver Island, CANADA High School Rowers Only (International travel: please note that rowers will need to leave on the earliest Friday morning boat off the north end. Here is a link to directions to the campus. Please be prepared for international travel.)
May 4th - Windermere Cup (Based on Lottery - top boat only) - Seattle, WA
May 16th-19th - USRowing Northwest Youth Championships - Vancouver, WA (overnight travel regatta)
June 6th-9th - USRowing Youth Nationals (qualifying boats only) - Sarasota, FL (overnight travel regatta, additional expense)
