Optional Regatta at Green Lake Aug 3 – $95 *
*Brand new rowers who wish to compete at Green Lake need to attend the last camp session for race preparation.
Our protected, quiet Harbor provides calm waters for rowing most days. Rowers will meet at VIRC Shell house at Jensen Point on Burton Peninsula. Off water time will be at our new Indoor Training Center (ITC) on Sunrise Ridge. Our goal for all rowers new and experienced is to have fun, get fit and make friends while increasing their proficiency in the sport of rowing. Beginning rowers will receive a well-rounded introduction to this great sport.

What You Need for Summer Camp – Enthusiasm
VIRC Waiver signed, Health History Form and a Float Test signed by a life guard.
Tight fitting shorts and shirt, preferably quick-dry (loose clothing can get caught in the equipment)
Socks to wear in the boat (these will get wet)
Water shoes, crocs, or sandals to wear in the water when launching the boat.
Tennis shoes, Baseball style hat, Sunscreen, Water bottle, Snacks & Lunch
Small Boats Camp/Summer Membership
Rowers who completed the Spring 2019 season may register for the Summer Small Boats Camp/Summer Membership. Small boats camp will Start July 22nd and run through August 30th. The small boats practices/camp has alternating practice times/dates and is ideal for mature High School and returning Collegiate rowers who want to focus on overall fitness and small boat technique.
