Junior Crew Summer Camp Registration
Summer crew camp offers conditioning and hands-on rowing for novice and experienced rowers culminating in an optional summer regatta at Green Lake. Experienced rowers will improve their fitness level and rowing expertise in preparation for upcoming fall crew season. Novices will learn the basics of rowing and get a well-rounded introduction to this challenging sport. To participate in the Green Lake regatta rowers must attend the last camp session.
Ages – 13-18 (8th – 12th grades in fall 2017)
Monday through Friday, 10am -2pm
First weekly session: June 25th-29th.
Second weekly session: July 2nd-6th.
Third weekly session: July 9-13th.
Fourth weekly session: July 16th-20th.
Fifth weekly session: July 23rd-27th.
Race Prep session: July 30th-August 4th. This session is required if your child wants to compete at the Green Lake Summer Regatta, but is brand new (this summer) to rowing.
There is an optional regatta at Green Lake on Aug 4. The fee for the regatta is $95.
Location – Jensen Point Boathouse
Cost – $125 per weekly session, or $700 for all 6.

What You Need for Summer Camp
A signed VIRC Waiver, Health History Form, and Float Test Tight fitting shorts and shirt, preferably quick-dry (loose clothing can get caught in the equipment)
Socks to wear in the boat (these will get wet)
Water shoes, crocs, or sandals to wear in the water when launching the boat
Baseball style hat
Snacks & lunch
